These maps are county-scale land-cover products, not parcel surveys. Narrow roads, small buildings, tiny wetlands, and mixed forest edges can be generalized because the source is organized as raster cells. Enlarging the image increases the visible pixel size but does not add survey-level detail.
The impervious layer estimates the share of hard surface inside each cell. It should not be used as a substitute for building footprints, parcel boundaries, zoning, ownership, or development rights.
