Map Data Sources Notice

The map materials provided by Green Map are custom-edited map designs created directly by Green Map. Administrative boundaries and geographic information are produced with reference to open data sources such as geoBoundaries, Natural Earth, OpenStreetMap, national government datasets, and public open data portals.

Some administrative boundary data may be based on geoBoundaries. geoBoundaries is an open administrative boundary dataset provided by the William & Mary geoLab. When specific datasets are used, Green Map provides source attribution according to the license conditions of each dataset.

The map images published on Green Map are not redistributed as original raw data files. Instead, they are edited and designed as practical map materials that can be used for educational resources, presentations, document creation, blog images, and other visual reference purposes.
