How Did Gender Parity in Public Lower-Secondary Enrolment Differ in 2024?

This is not the female share among students in public schools

The denominator is crucial. The underlying public-institution enrollment measure is the percentage of lower-secondary students enrolled in public institutions. For GPIA, that percentage is calculated separately for female and male students and then compared.
