Photos App: Merge Videos Without Installing Programs Using Windows

How to merge videos using the Windows Photos app

Previous versions of Windows 10 had a default app called ‘Movie Maker’ installed, but many users were disappointed when this app disappeared. Accordingly, Windows 10 recently added the ability to edit videos in the Photos app through an update.

Simple editing is possible, and it provides various functions such as effects, filters, and enlargement, so you can edit easily without installing a program.

Let’s learn how to merge multiple videos into one among various editing methods. If you go through them step by step, you will find that this program is not that difficult. – See the official explanation from Microsoft

If you click on the start menu and enter ㅅ, you will see something called a picture. Click on it to run it.

After selecting the custom video, simply upload the video you want to merge from the folder and click Create at the top right.

After you load and select the videos to merge and click Create, you will be taken to the editing screen. Since only 1 or 2 seconds can be selected by default, you will need to click Trim on the storyboard to select the length of the videos.

If you want to use the entire length of the video, drag the bars on both sides as shown in the screen above to make it the entire area and click Done.

Once you have decided on the length of the video, you can use the tools shown above to decorate it as you wish, including filters, text input, motion, themes, and music.

Once you have selected all the lengths and completed the decoration, check the preview time in the upper right corner one last time, then click the ‘Export’ or ‘Share’ button in the upper right corner again and choose one of the three methods to save the video.

Once the video production process is complete, you can play it as shown in the screen above and check the saved location.

The Photos app may seem a little confusing at first because it uses a different method than Windows Movie Maker, but once you start using it, you’ll quickly get used to the intuitive interface.

Since this is a photo app that can be used as a default in Windows 10 without installing advanced programs, please learn how to use it and then use it when you need to merge or edit videos.
