Following the map of Iraq in the Middle East, this time I created a Slovakia map located in Europe. Slovakia is a country between Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary, and its territory is the 128th largest in the world, not a big part of the country.
Due to the small population of European countries, Slovakia also ranks 117th in the world with 5.45 million people. With a GDP of 105.4 billion dollars, it is ranked 60th in the world, and it is showing a stable economy by fostering various fields as an export-driven economy.
Since it is a landlocked country, the work did not take long in terms of the simplicity of the terrain. The program I used to create the map is an illustrator, and I used Photoshop to add colors.
As it is a European country, if you search in English, you can see a lot of map types. However, it is difficult to find a map in Korean, so I made it in a large size.
It’s not just one type of map, but three types of maps, color maps, black and white maps, and outline maps, so you can use them for a variety of tasks.
1. Slovakia Map
This is the Slovakia map created this time. Since the terrain is not difficult, the work of making the frame was made easy. The regional division was also large, so we were able to make it easy.
The colors are less saturated so that the letters are clearly visible, and the names of the regions are displayed in Korean and English, so there will be no need to look up the English notation again.
The capital Bratislava uses star-shaped icons to mark it so that you can find it right away, and so that the surrounding countries are not complicated, only the country name has been added without creating a border.
The size is A3 so it won’t break even if you print it or enlarge it.
2. Basic Slovakia Map
Next is the base map with the colors removed. If there is color, it looks good, so it is good for posting on a site or blog, but when printed, the text may be difficult to see and it will take a lot of ink.
So, there may be people who want a map that does not separate regions by color, so it is a white terrain for the Slovakia map that I created, so it will be easy to print and add information.
3. Contour Slovakia Map
Some people include information about the region’s division, but those who want to add major cities or information will want a frame-only outline map. So, it would be nice to add color as it only has a frame.
I made 3 types of Slovakia map, and if there is one that suits the purpose of use, you can download and use it by clicking on Google Drive below. If you do not redistribute the original, you can download it conveniently because there are no restrictions on use.
