Following the map of Switzerland, this time I made a Ukraine map, which is located in Eastern Europe. In Korea, it is known as the country of beauty and belongs to a historically important area, so some of you may need a map.
For those who are interested in or provide information on the Crimean Peninsula dispute, we have marked the region and added a color map to clearly see the division of the region.
Ukraine has a large territory among European countries, making it 43rd in the world, with a population of 4373 million, making it the 35th in the world. The GDP, representing the economy, is $153.7 billion, ranking 56th in the world.
Although the tourism industry was developed, it is now shrinking more than before as it was hit by the backlash from the civil war. Looking at the export structure, the steel industry, agriculture, and manufacturing industries are dominated, and the petroleum-related industries also occupy a high proportion.
The program used to create the map used Illustrator to create the basic frame and Photoshop to add color. The size is A3, so it will be good for those who want to print large or enlarged to use it.
I made three types of color maps, basic maps, and outline maps, and I will show them as images.
1. Ukraine Map
This is the Ukrainian map created this time. As in the existing method, colors were added to separate regions, and both Korean and English names were marked.
The neighboring countries of Romania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, and Belarus look complicated, so I did not add borders and displayed only text. The Crimean Peninsula, a historically important region, is now marked in white because it is a Russian territory.
The capital Kiev has a red star to indicate its location and is made in a large size, so it will not break even if you print it large or post it on a blog or site.
2. Basic Ukraine Map
The Ukrainian map we introduced at the beginning is good for blogging or on a site because it looks good, but it can be ink intensive when printed. So I also made a map with colors removed.
Since the color has been removed, the name of the region is clearly visible when printing, and it is good to use while writing. And even those who want to provide information by adding color only to a specific area will be able to work easily because there is no line break.
3. Contour Ukraine Map
Finally, this is a good outline map for those who want to work with graphics. All colors have been removed, but the seas are grayed out to distinguish them.
The lines are seamlessly created to create a color map, so you can easily add color with a graphics program like Photoshop.
Since it is made in A3 size, if you make it in a smaller size, it will not break and you will be able to use it for various purposes. The map can be downloaded as a compressed file by clicking Google Drive below.
