Following the Kyrgyzstan map, this time I made a Turkmenistan map. Turkmenistan is a country that is less known in Korea than its neighboring countries such as Uzbekistan and Iran.
So, even though I didn’t know well, it is a country that I learned last year while playing soccer with Korea.
Its territory is not so small that it ranks 51st in the world, with a population of 6.36 million, ranking 112th in the world. The GDP, which represents the economy, is unknown because there is no information, but the GDP per capita is $8,203 as of 2014.
Although it is a country with a lot of resources such as oil and natural gas, it can be said that there are few other industries due to its too high dependence. So, since it is a country that is greatly affected by fluctuations in oil prices, the welfare budget is affected by oil prices.
The program I used to make a map of Turkmenistan is an illustrator, and I used Photoshop to add colors. We have created 3 types of color maps, basic maps, and outline maps to be used for various purposes.
The size is made in large A3, so you will be able to work comfortably when printing or working with graphics.
1. Turkmenistan Map
This is a Turkmenistan map created this time. The terrain is uncomplicated and the area is large, making it the fastest possible map ever created.
The names of the regions are indicated in Korean and English, but we refer to Wikipedia. The capital Ashgabat uses star icons to make it easy to find, and neighboring countries Iran, Afghanistan, and Uzbekistan are marked with only letters to avoid complexity.
The large lakes are marked, and the Caspian Sea is colored differently so that it can be seen.
2. Basic Turkmenistan Map
If you use the color for regional classification, you would prefer it more because it looks good and it is easy to distinguish, but if you are printing, it may be bad because it requires a lot of ink.
So, since the terrain is made white with the base map with the color removed for regional division, it is good for handwriting after printing, and the text is more visible.
And using a graphics program like Photoshop, you will be able to work comfortably when adding color or adding information to a specific area.
3. Contour Turkmenistan Map
It is easy to work with graphics with a basic map, but it can be inconvenient for those who want to remove the background color and text. So this is an outline map with color and text removed.
I’ve only left the color to separate the lake from the Caspian Sea, and I’ve noticed that all the lines are broken, so it will be easier to work with graphics. The map can be downloaded for free by clicking on Google Drive below.
In addition to the Turkmenistan map, we have created maps for various countries, so if you need it, you can click on the map category above to download what you need.
