Following the map of Montenegro, this time I made a Tunisia map in North Africa. It is located between Italy to the north, Algeria to the west and Libya to the east, and borders the Mediterranean Sea.
The territory of Tunisia is 1,6361,000 hectares, which is not so big that it ranks 91st in the world. With a population of 11.81 million, it is ranked 79th in the world, and its gross domestic product (GDP), which shows the economic situation, is 387 billion dollars, ranking 90th in the world.
The GDP per capita, which shows the real life of the people, is $3,447, which is a better situation than the African countries, where there are many least developed countries. Religion is not diverse, and Islam accounts for 99%.
Looking at the economy, agriculture is so developed that wheat in the north, grapes in the vicinity of Tunisia, fruits and vegetables in the main cape, and olives in the south are produced.
In addition, after independence, industrialization was promoted, and facilities such as iron making, oil refining, and cement were installed, and phosphorus is abundant as an underground resource. Major exports include olive oil, vegetables, and phosphorus, and oil is also the first export product of Tunisia.
And the greenery industry is turning the mountains green, saving nature and increasing the number of tourists and profits. However, recently there are concerns that the economic growth rate could record -7% due to the pandemic.
The climate is said to be hot and dry in summer in the Buk-gu region and frequent rains in winter. 32% of the land area is farmed, 20% is pasture, and 4% is forest, making it a country with good natural conditions.
Tunisia is not a well-known country in Korea, so there is not much information, but some people know it because it is known as soccer. I did a search to write about the country of Tunisia, but there was not much information compared to other countries.
So, I wrote it by referring to Wikipedia and the tree wiki. To this extent, when I came to Tunisia and talked about the map, the program I used was an illustrator, and Photoshop was used to add colors.
As before, not only one map was created, but three types of color maps, basic maps, and outline maps were made so that they can be used for various purposes.
1. Tunisia Map
This is the state of the Tunisia map created this time. It has a long line of terrain, so I did not make it horizontally so that I could see it large, but I did it vertically.
Region names are indicated in Korean and English by referring to the Wikipedia Administrative District document. Libya and Algeria, the neighboring countries, have not created borders and marked only letters so that they can know their location.
It’s made in A3 size, so it’s good to look after printing, and if you’re using a graphic program like Photoshop to make corrections, it won’t break even if you zoom in, so it’s easy to work with.
The various countries that have been created so far have many large lakes or complex topography, but Tunisia has a gentle topography and no large lakes, so it was easy to work with.
The color is good to look at, so if you are writing information about the country of Tunisia or travel reviews, it will be a good place to attach it to your site or blog.
2. Basic Tunisia Map
Next, it is a Tunisia map where the colors used for regional division are removed. If there are colors, it looks good, but I can think of why I removed them, but depending on the print quality, the letters may not be visible and it is not good to use while writing after printing. .
So, it was made for those who want a colorless map rather than a color map, so it would be nice to print it out and mark it with handwriting before making corrections with a graphic program.
And if you want to add color only to a specific area, you can work comfortably because you only need to remove the text and add it. Colors can be nice to look at, but some people don’t like it because it looks complicated, so if you want to see the text more clearly, please use the map above.
3. Contour Tunisia Map
Finally, this is the Tunisia map with all colors and text removed. The base map above is also convenient for graphics, but can be inconvenient for those who need to remove all colors and text.
So, by removing all colors and letters, only the outline was left, and I worked while checking the breaks of all lines so that those who want to add colors can work comfortably.
In the past, when I was writing country information, I sometimes used a map that contained all the elements, but when explaining a specific area, it was uncomfortable if all the elements were included.
So, I found a lot of maps with only outlines, but there may be people like me, so I am adding outline maps when working on maps. All of the above Tunisia map are free and can be downloaded as compressed files by clicking on Google Drive below.
We made maps not only of Tunisia but also of various countries, so please refer to the map category at the top and download the map of the country you need.
